February, 2009
To whom it may concern:

This letter is to confirm that Ryerson University and Ontario Small Hand are working together on a drama project for the homeless.  The project is a one day acting and improvisation workshop with a professional theatre artist and educator from Ryerson University's Act II Studio.   Through a series of games, exercises and improvisations, participants will learn a series of skills that spark creativity, open up streams of communication and help bridge connections with others.

In addition to providing a professional theatre artist and educator, Ryerson University will be providing the facility and a lunch for the participants.  Ontario Small Hand is doing the recruitment so that the homeless who participate will be those who are most likely to benefit from the project. The total cost of the program will be approximately $1500.

Sincerely,

Rona Abramovitch

Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic
